Session 5 / Tuition Due / Week 15

  • Dropping a class during January or February incurs a fee of 50% of the remainder of the monthly fees due that teacher for the entire co-op year.

Example: If a class costs $30 per session and you choose to drop the class in January, you would owe a drop fee of $60.

4 sessions X $30 = $120

50% of $120 = $60

Remember,  many tutors enroll their own children in classes based upon the number of students in their own class.  Whenever students drop their course it means less income to pay for those classes. So, please think carefully about your schedule at the beginning of the year to avoid this situation as much as possible.

However, if a situation arises, such as an emergency, or a job transfer out of town, or other issues, sometimes the Directing Committee will waive the drop fees. So, please make sure to talk with us before dropping a class.
